Located with access to the most desired all sports lakes in the area, Hamlin Lake, you won’t want to miss this rustic setting on acreage, very private! Get the feeling of rustic living with all of the modern amenities. From the stainless steel appliances; master bedroom with queen bed and the loft with 2 new full size mattresses (one extra firm hybrid coil mattress and one medium/plush memory foam bed), to the fire pit and outdoor hot tub. It has a Gas Grill with a large deck a hot tub. Take a walk through the woods or enjoy a fire in the fire pit. You can watch TV on the 50” TV (Roku) , and an upstairs TV with built in DVD player. Or sit on the couch and enjoy the fire and heat from the pellet stove (seasonal pellets) or cool air from our central air conditioning. If you enjoy watching all kinds of wildlife or just want to sit back and enjoy a great book, don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy your next travel or romantic getaway to the Arrowhead Cabin.   NOTE: We do have a ring camera/light, records upon motion detection, on the parking area only.

The cottage is private and does not sit directly on the lake (less than 1000 ft down a dead end road in front of the home), but does have seasonal lake views - shallow water area, able to put in with kayaks (no dock). Close by are other launches such as Victory Park or the Beautiful State Park! (Seasonal furniture and kayaks). We are in the upper Hamlin area, meaning depending on the time of year and how the weather is, there are cattails/reeds/rice in the area, but there are usually runs cut to get out into the main part of Upper Hamlin. You won't be disappointed in the beautiful views! Recommend 4WD in the winter!

Short drive to Lake Michigan and coast towns (Ludington, Manistee....), Amber Elk Farm, shopping, restaurants, beautiful Ludington State Park with swimming/fishing/hiking trails/snowshoeing....

Include 1 bedroom upstairs with a queen bed, and a loft bedroom upstairs with 2 full beds.  The couch on the main floor is a sofa sleeper.

Bed and Bath Linens, Toilet Paper, Hand Soap, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Pods, 1 Roll of Paper Towel, Starter Pack of KCups, Hair Dryer, Propane for the Grill

You will need to provide beach towels, paper plates, food.... and such if so desired.

How to Book
Contact us today with your dates of choice, minimum 2 night booking.  Once your booking is accepted, you will need to provide a copy of your drivers license via email and will need to sign an electronic rental agreement (as see below).  We accept payment via Venmo/Cash App/Paypal.

Check in is at 4:00 pm. Check out is at 11:00 am.  All completed with an electronic door code.  Please be advised you need to be strict on checkout times. If you are over 30 minutes late, on your checkout time, you will be charged $50.00 per hour, unless other arrangements have made in writing.

We require a $200.00 security deposit to help protect the property and items located within the property. Upon check out we will inventory the property and condition, if acceptable, you will be refunded either all or part of your security deposit within 7 business days. If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, you shall inform us immediately. Please help keep the property and its furnishings in good order, and only use appliances for their intended purposes.

We want this to be your home away from home but do appreciate that we have so many great renters that take excellent care of the property. We ask that you make sure all the dishes are cleaned, or, at least, being cleaned, in the dishwasher. Counters should be wiped off and clean of any debris. If the carpet or furniture is stained, we ask that you notify us immediately so that we can have it taken care of either while you are there or before the next renters arrive. Please strip the bed that have been used, so that we can clean them and all dirty towels are to be placed in the laundry room. We will sanitize and clean the whole house and wash all of the bedding and towels. If for some reason things are not left in this order, you could be charged a fee of up to $200.00 from your security deposit.

No Smoking! No exceptions. If you or anyone in your party is caught smoking in the house, you will be required to leave without compensation for nights lost and will lose your security deposit. Additionally, no marijuana is permitted inside the house – if it is found, you will be charged an extra cleaning fee and rental fee for ozonator if needed to remove the smell.

One dog is allowed with prior approval. Please utilize the doggie gear in the mudroom if you need something, as well as doggie bags for their DOO-DOO! Please pick up after your dog! You can throw all bagged waste in the trash up at the main road. If you do not pick up your pet waste, you will be charged a fee. IF you must leave your dog in the home unaccompanied, please crate and please keep leashed when outside at all times. Thank you!

Please respect all fellow neighbors and guests that might be around. The water frontage is shared frontage. We want you to have fun and enjoy your stay but please refrain from vulgarity and being loud after 10:00 pm.  

There are no parties allowed or no more than six people allowed at the cottage due to the size of the cottage, the number of beds, and parking. If there are more than six people, you will be required to leave immediately and will lose any paid rent and security deposit.

To help protect the woods and natural setting you are not allowed to discharge any fireworks or guns. You are not allowed to have fires by the lake or any other location except where the fire pit is located in the back yard. Kayaks are provided for your enjoyment, along with life vests which are mandatory. We suggest you bring beach towels as we do not permit towels to be removed from the house. It is to be noted that using these boats and swimming is at your own risk and no lifeguard is on duty.

For your enjoyment, a hot tub is provided for relaxation. Please no bottles or glass in or near the hot tub. No children under the age of 18 years are permitted in the hot tub at any time. Please refrain from tracking dirt or sand into the hot tub. It is to be noted that using this hot tub is at your own risk and no lifeguard is on duty. Please keep in mind there is always a certain health risk associated with hot tubs. Our housekeepers sanitize and replenish chemicals prior to your arrival. Please do not stand on the hot tub cover as they are for insulation purposes only and are not designed to support a person or persons. Remember when not using the hot tub, please keep the cover on so it will stay warm.

The pellet stove must never be left on when you are not in the home.  Pellets are provided seasonally.

The firepit on the patio should NEVER be left unattended when in use. Please ensure that you are in control of your fire at all times. Please do not SIT on the fire pit blocks or prop your feet on the blocks for your safety. Do not put anything in the fire pit besides wood to burn. 

This cottage is on a well and septic system. The mineral content is high and at times may emit an odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If this occurs and a clog results, you could be charged for damages.

There are several stairs in and outside of the cabin.  Please no running on the stairs and proceed with caution.

This home is privately owned, and we are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. We are not responsible for the loss of your personal belongings or valuables. 

We have a strict no cancellation policy. You may NOT sub-lease the property or have someone stay in your place, at any time.
